Dear Friends,
We are so thankful for each of you who pray for us as often as you think of us. Paul said, “I thank my God upon every remembrance of you.” We are so thankful that you pray for us.
What a humbling yet comforting phrase to hear or read. We have seen how the Lord has answered those prayers you have prayed for us.
A few weeks ago we were out west in Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. We were headed to Payson, Arizona and a trip that should have taken an hour and a half took six hours because of two wrecks that happened less than 1⁄2 mile ahead of us. Other events like a high speed chase that came within inches of our rear bumper as well as the cars behind and ahead of us. We have seen cars overturned, and some were burnt with nothing left but the frame. We praise God for His protection as we have traveled, and we are thankful for your prayers!
James 5:16 “...the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”
During a meeting in Georgia, a lady told us after the evening service that her daughter took our prayer card and prayed for us on the way home after the morning service. She said that she specifically prayed for our safety on the road as we traveled. This precious thought came to our mind as we encountered the many accidents on the road. What a joy that our heavenly Father hears and answers the prayers of little children and adults!
Please continue to pray for us as we near the end of deputation. Since our last update, our support has increased from 76% to 81%, and God has added 7 new supporting churches! We have also received 15% of our set up funds goal. Thank you to those who have given towards our set up.
