This month was another great month of language learning and with many things going on in the ministry here. I am currently in book 3 of 5 and am learning a lot of new things that will help me when speaking Spanish. I never was that good in English grammar, so this Spanish grammar is no different. Classes are definitely getting more challenging, so please pray that I continue to learn and will be able to speak it fluently in the upcoming months.
I also had the opportunity to participate in a new church plant here. One of the seminary students named Bryan has finished and has started a church. For their first service they had many visitors and it's great to know that there is another church here preaching the Gospel. Be praying that God would bless and save souls.
One of the churches here named Love Baptist Church just bought property. They can now begin to build their building and have a permanent place for the church. Be praying for pastor Paul and for the church.
It was great to see one of my good friends get baptized and how the Lord has been working in his life. He has taken me under his wing and is helping me practice my Spanish.
I also said good bye to my friend and roommate Chase Southard last Sunday, as He is now a missionary to South Africa. As a part of his farewell, we had an outreach soccer tournament where a lot of the guys from our community came out to play. After the tournament, Chase preached a great salvation message and many people raised their hand for salvation. Be praying for these guys that God would save them and work in their lives.
