As I am writing this I am in Arequipa, Peru. We traveled all night on the 31st and part of the day on the 1st, but finally arrived without any problems. I will be starting language school soon and looking forward to learning Spanish. Please be praying that I would be able to learn the language quickly, find me an apartment to live in and not have any complications with paperwork.
I am still recovering from surgery and have about 2 more months before I get my range of motion back. It has definitely made traveling difficult, but am thankful for the missionaries that helped me out with my luggage. I pray that this time the surgery works and wont ever have to worry about it again.
A lot of events happened in December including a share-a-thon where our mission board is raising funds for the Baptist Center for World Evangelism. To help raise money they put my beard on auction and of course the goal was met, so that meant bye bye beard. Also had the summit
last month where many young people came and got encouraged to do something for world evangelism. Many made decisions to become missionaries and serve God with their lives.
I thank you all for what you do and hope you all have a great new year! Until next time...
